I am happy to announce that we have reached our donations goal in record time! PsB has gathered enough money to order a brand new data server! You guys are awesome and this should finally enable PsB to go forward with our long-term plans. At this time, the staff is busy designing the new server with all of the required hardware and parts that will be needed to ensure quality service to all the members for a long while. The staff is also in the process of putting together a crack team of coders to complete the many projects that were on hold while we lacked the needed horsepower and storage space.
Electronic Arts Inc. has contracted with Even Balance, Inc. to integrate PunkBuster™ Anti-Cheat software into the game Need for Speed Undercover. We will soon be opening a section on our website to support PunkBuster™ for Need for Speed Undercover. From the beginning, PsB's mission has been to thwart the efforts of cheaters, while protecting the rights and interests of players. Our goal-- to become the gold standard in the online gaming community for anti-cheat support and cheat detection. This week brought a milestone in our fight. We have reached 100,000 cheater bans. Although these numbers could be higher, if we add in the lengthy list of checks for which we kick but do not ban, we believe our commitment to the players and the accuracy we strive to achieve keeps many false bans off our list. The extra steps taken to ensure the accuracy of all bans is just a part of what makes PsB unique. Thanks to all the administrators, contributors, and players who have helped us reach this goal from the beginning, now, and into the future.
We did suffer some network issues I don't have any exact details but I believe it was router failure. It wasn't anything we could do. Whole datacenter was affected. This also means that from last night some of the streaming data is lost because our log repository wasn't available at some times.

EA Digital Illusions CE AB has contracted with Even Balance, Inc. to integrate PunkBuster™ Anti-Cheat software into the soon to be released "Play 4 Free" cartoon-style shooter known as Battlefield Heroes™. We will soon be opening a section on our website to support PunkBuster™ for Battlefield Heroes™.
We have an important and serious matter at hand. Many of you may have noticed the new PsB donations thermometer on the front page of the site. The thermometer is a visual representation of our current progress towards purchasing another sorely needed data server. This new server will be used to help handle the massive amounts of data that PsB must process in order to provide everyday services to you.
Many of you have asked to be notified by staff when PsB is in need financial help. That time is now. Please donate to PsB by becoming a Premium Member of the site or by purchasing ad space to display your clan banner on the site or by clicking the donate button and sending in a few dollars. Every bit helps.
We did not have a donations drive for the last server and it took 2 years to save up enough money. The cost was a whopping $5,500. That one has been in service number crunching and powering most of the services since the first of 2008. It replaced a dinosaur of a machine. Now we have a second dying dinosaur that needs to be replaced. Fortunately, the cost of this new server is less because it will mainly be used for look-ups and data storage. The cost for this one is $3,700.
Without getting too long winded here, we are asking for your help. I don’t want this to take 2 years again. Let’s make this happen in 2 months or so this time. The PsB servers need to be able to handle and keep up with the number of member servers streaming. Right now they are strained to the max. Data scan times are getting longer and longer so the time is now.
Please donate a few dollars to the cause. If you do, we will reach our goal in no time and secure a bright future for one of the best anti-cheat services on the planet. Let’s band together and make the mercury rise in the thermometer! I’ll update our total everyday so we can watch it go up!

Global Warfighter League has recently announced that it will require all their match servers to be streaming to PunksBusted for their anti-cheat needs. I would like to welcome them to the family and wish them cheat free gaming.
